Secrets of the Imperial War Museum broadcast date

Post by iainpeden » Mon Nov 15, 2021 1:01 pm

The first of six episodes in the series Secrets of the Imperial War Museum will air on Channel 5 at 7pm on Friday 26 November. The series was filmed predominantly from February to June this year, and involved staff and volunteers from a wide range of teams across the organisation. All five IWM branches feature in the series, with key storylines including the development of IWM London's new Second World War and The Holocaust Galleries, the conservation and refresh of HMS Belfast, and flying activities at IWM Duxford.

Power just came back on 14:20 today .Couldnt believe it when it cut off again just as the 5 +1 started..We were ok with gas cooker and a wood burning stove.Apparently some poles down so have to give top marks to these guys working all night.Used to do it myself so know what they were putting up with.Snow, sleet, dark heavy gusting winds and someone moaning are you going to be much longer oh I really miss the old days.
