Live streams

Post by XWP29 » Fri Feb 18, 2022 10:53 pm

I’m not against live streams, watching the excellent Manchester live feed on YouTube today: https://youtu.be/U5mtT8hRVwQ which included great camera work and coherent and rational commentary demonstrates it is possible for the genre to be interesting ( well ish before fellow reapers give me a hard time). Even if commercial lines are actually designed and are more than capable of landing in extreme conditions.
Most remarkable is the USAF 1960’s Buffs doing the same today, which went largely unreported.

Totally agree, Nick

As stated elsewhere, those B52 guys probably have far worse weather to contend with back home ;)

Seen the video of ZEUS51/2 landing back at FFD and the articulating trucks are amazing :Wow:

Hope you enjoyed the peace and quiet in the motorhome ;)

Paddy

Live streams are usually very good, as long as 'a' the commentator knows what he is talking about. and 'b' more important in one particular case, he knows when to keep his mouth shut!!!. No names, no pack drill, but his surname begins with 'D' Could stand for dire, I guess.

Have you seen the clip of the B-52 landing after it lost its tail?

Live streams are ok, but I prefer to start watching it after 30~40 minutes have passed, so that I can watch it at 1.25 speed.
