JUDITH DURHAM.
JUDITH DURHAM.
Sad news for us oldies. Judith Durham has passed away aged 79. Lead singer of 'The Seekers' that those of us oldies will remember. Lovely lady with a gorgeous voice. The Carnival is over....

Re: JUDITH DURHAM.
Sad indeed - we often had a Seekers' record playing on our record player when I was growing up. Many miles away now...!
Re: JUDITH DURHAM.
She was performing in Torquay during the summer of 1965. A wonderful voice. I still have two of the Seekers’ LPs, unplayable due to many house moves.
Her jazz performances were fabulous. A cd of her still gets a whirl from time to time.

Sad news indeed, we of a certain age are getting fewer and fewer, RIP.
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Some not so olds appreciate how good a singer she was as well. I dont have many memories of my younger years while we lived along the road in Perth, but certainly remember being a regular at a second hand record shop. My sis and i would get up every Saturday and play records and The Seekers were a big part of that.
