Yup a unique picture, I lived opposite hardstand 10 for 40 years and I don’t ever remember seeing a bare B model, thanks for posting.

Probably not painted after overhaul and pressed back into service with GW1 requiring max airlift?

My thoughts exactly, Mildenhall was VERY busy post GW1. Not unusual to see 8-10 C141 in the course of a day. Not the best of photos but I wasn't going to miss it.

That's right, no time for respray - a bare metal one went through Upper Heyford around GW1 as well. Like Mildenhall it was handling several MAC transits per day.
