I guess the Hawks are only with the school of medicine now?

Cheers, yes that seems to be the primary callsign by the aviation school of medicine. 1 was up earlier too showing as Gauntlet 01.

Thanks

What you see pinging as "G01" is usually actually radio calling GAUNTLET 20 - one and the same. He was spinning yesterday - always good to hear on the radio.

Thanks, they used to use Tester too but haven't heard them use that in a while, I guess it's just jus general handling pulling G flights these days . I don't get much time to use the scanner these days.

Shouldn't this thread be on the Civilian Aviation section, as there is NOTHING military about this fleet?

I would imagine they fall, vaguely, under Rule 8.

Otherwise let's stop talking about DADS, Draken International, et al.

G-RNGS Airbus H145 , registered to QinetiQ on 28/05/20. Not sure if this has been delivered to Boscombe Down yet. Can anyone confirm if it has been delivered?.

Many thanks

G-RNGS remains with Airbus Helicopters at Kidlington. I've no idea what they're doing to it but have been told that it's unlikely to fly before August.

G-RNGS will not be based at Boscombe but will be based at Kyle of Lochalsh as support aircraft for the British Underwater Test Range.

A.109 G-ORCD seems to operating around Boscombe Down recently. See it flying around Tidworth almost daily now. Just wondering if its been added to the QinetiQ fleet, or has just been leased.

Remember the BBC TV Series Test Pilot in the late 80s was about the ETPS. Think you can see it on You Tube?
