Paris flypast practise the highlights

Post by fisherman » Mon Jul 12, 2021 5:57 am

73 aircraft and 24 helicopters will fly over Paris on Wednesday morning. We visited Bricy airbase to witness the practice, cancelled on Tuesday and Wednesday because of the inclement weather, but it all came together on Thursday morning.
This year it features the DGA-EV in their 60th year, so nice to see some rare types and the Grey Mirage 2000B with the Rafale nose cone.

Here is my take on this great event.

Hope they are of intrest.

That DGA Mirage is a lovely rare catch, very envious of that.

That is a very interesting selection of aircraft there, most of which aren’t photographed very often, really nice post.

Have to say it was a great moment to catch the "Rafale cone Mirage"?

A diverse selection, the French do have a nice variety within their armed forces and it shows in your series. Thanks.

Thanks Kev, I was well pleased as it passed with the two DGA Alpha's and ecstatic when they came on finals. My first grey

Can I ask what are the French authorities like regarding us aviation photographers, hopefully over there in October, Covid restrictions allowing..?
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!
