Mode-S callsign was "WTN10", although 2 crew. Infra Red Search & Track (IRST) sensor aka PIRATE, noted fitted on this flt (front fuselage, left of windscreen). Had been missing on previous flts with a primered panel where is should be. Was also minus underwing and centreline tanks which had been fitted on PFAT3. ZR509 (MS005) "QA408" also noted with IRST missing on flt 3 (29/9), but is now fitted. ZR509 was noted on 358 hangar apron but didn't fly unfortunately. Obviously there has been supply chain issues here.

ZR509 landed this afternoon on an 'emergency'. The automatic slats would not retract after lift off, subsequently burnt off fuel over the North Sea before returning for a normal landing with chute deployed. Fire service on standby on both sides of the airfield, thankfully not required. Taxiied and parked as normal.

ZR510/QA409 (MS006) - was also minus the IRST sensor, replaced by a primered panel as per previous jets. Dry takeoff and the usual PFAT1 test schedule incl high speed (supersonic) run N>S on "Bravo" run passing west of IoM. Then various engine testpoints. Streamed chute on landing also normally done on PFAT1.

ZR509/QA408 (MS005) - at one stage a RHAG engagement was on the cards, think I heard that it was a flap warning caption. Landed without requiring a RHAG engagement, just popping the chute as mentioned. First flt with underwing tanks fitted, presumed it was a ferry shakedown flt.

Also ZR501/QA400 (MT001) was noted being towed Northside > southside @ 1505L, with underwing and centreline tanks refitted. It had flown flt4 on 17/10 minus tanks but flt3 on 6/10 with them fitted.

Seen on approach to 07. No IRST fitted (LHS in view where it is visible if fitted) and IFRP definately not extended on approach. Photoproofed. No tanks fitted as only PFAT2 and production test schedule still to complete.

Apologies if I've used the wrong abbreviation. I meant it landed with its in-flight refuelling probe extended. I was on the RHS near the 07 threshold. Struck me as odd, possibly unable to retract it? Photos on Flickr.
