Having initially thought that there was nothing to see as I passed by this afternoon, Indian C-130J-30 KC-3802 was outside with paint stripped down to bare metal as it was towed back into the hangar to be near USMC KC-130J 167927 (could be read off from large numbers on the sides at the front of the aircraft).

I'm afraid I can't say for certain either way - sorry. The two of them were both outside by 1615 or so yesterday and the hangar doors were being shut with the two of them outside at around 1545 on Friday - I don't know if they were later put back inside or not and I've not been past again since.

The bare metal KC-3802 is currently outside being tinkered on - that's the only Hercules outside as of ~1/2 an hour ago.

N.B. KLu G-781 which arrived around noon had been pulled inside by the time I passed by.

When 84002 arrived this lunchtime, nothing else was noted outside.

USMC KC-130J 167927 was outside this afternoon (as of about 20 minutes ago) with its rear facing towards Airport Way.

Given it has reportedly run its engines this week, it must about time for it to take to the skies again - hopefully it'll do a test-flight before departure and not just leave, fly a few race-tracks to the south-west and head off like at least one of the USMC examples has done so far.

Having succeeded in missing G-781's departure this lunchtime, some consolation was USMC KC-130J 167927 being towed back from the Engine-run pen.
