king's birthday flypast rehearsal 2025

I haven't been to the Birthday flypast in a while. When Elizabeth was queen, it was the weekend of Cosford so I used to fly to London, watch the flypast then go up to Birmingham on the train.

But now with Charles it's the week after Cosford. I think 2019 pre Covid was the last time I got to the Birthday flypast

I usually go to Northolt for the birthday flypast but last year it was a disaster for me as they flew over Heathrow from where I had just relocated only 30 minutes earlier!

This should be pretty similar to the VE day flypast, but with presumably no RC135 as none are at Waddo, and with the addition of Chinooks at the front.

P8 probably stopping off at Waddo after the practice which seems to be the norm now.

Looking at the timings for the practice are they aiming to be over the collage for 1pm

AREA B - CORRIDOR BETWEEN NORTH WEST OF HALESWORTH & MARHAM AD
12:30 TO 13:15 Surface to 7000 feet
AREA C - CORRIDOR BETWEEN MARHAM AD & WADDINGTON AD
12:35 TO 13:30 Surface to 3000 feet.

It looks to me as if you are right, according to the official document. The airshows website seems to have copied the GMT times as BST.

Tomorrow's practice is cancelled.

It will go ahead on Wednesday
