For those confused about old accounts - if you are inactive for over a year the account is now deleted by Admin.

We've had several dormant accounts taken over by bots in the past.

Hi all, new member, based in bournemouth... have had an interested in aviation for a long time but have got more into things since about 2018

Make the yearly trip to RIAT for fridays and sundays and have done so since 2018 when I got hooked, try to get upto lakenheath/mildenhall at least twice a year, RNAS Yeovilton is probably my local

Hi all,

Happy to be here, some of you have probably met me before, I’m Mike. New to the forum, not to the industry. I’m a career aircraft engineer, my core background is fast jets, highlights include 7 years on F-16 (Osan, Spangdahlem) and a stint with Top Aces working on the Alpha Jet and A-4. I was one of the engineers who came out on rotation while the Skyhawks were at Lakenheath, and I DO have my stories from those few months, believe me. I left that gig to move from Germany to Britain, I’ve been in the UK (Essex) for about a year now, and I feel like I’ve finally found where I’m meant to be at. I’m a regular attendee at assorted airshows, if any of y’all are in Spain this coming weekend I hope to see you there.

Planned Airshows for 2025 currently: Cosford, AIRE (Spain), Duxford Summer Saturday, Wallop Wings & Wheels, RIAT (all days), The Somme (France), Southport, Sanicole (Belgium)
