Vulcan to Waddington, help please.

Ive just had a friend call me ref the departure of the Vulcan to Waddington show, I would like to help him if I can with your help.

He is wanting to know, what day the Vulcan will depart DSA for Waddington? and approx what time?

Just a guess but being so close to Waddington, I guess that she will depart from Doncaster and go straight to the show, stay there Saturday night then display again on Sunday then depart for Doncaster after her display.....Just my thoughts but could be wrong.

Thought the vulcan was static and flying both days but could be wrong listen to airshow fm they reckon they gonna keep everything updated as they can

Thursday being Press day, would expect her around midday.

As the under wing tours are very popular I would certainly expect her to arrive before the display an Saturday to make the most of the time she has on the ground.

As far as I recall it has always arrived Thursday pm, presumably to tie in with press visits.

Is there any reason that will not be the case this year?

Sod who then? I would imagine any request to keep arrival news quiet would be from Waddington rather than VttS.

I expect there will be flight updates on twitter and farcebook nearer the time.

That's just rubbish. They pretty much always disclose their flights via twitter and facebook unless they've been specifically asked not to.

If Waddington have asked them not to give out flight arrival information for some reason then out of courtesy VttS wont, but I still expect there will be a twitter update regarding a flight to Waddo within the next couple of days.

People coming on and saying things like I have info but am not allowed to say is just stupid and only stirs up the pot.
