Also, this could be interpreted as a sign of possible things to come:

"We’ve got 14 more sorties to carry out in the test phase, including some high-level stuff, but we are hopeful of being able to make the aircraft available for some airshows towards the end of the 2013 season.” - Mike Davis, Owner of the restored Canberra PR9 :D

Mike,

Well it would be nice to see a Voyager at the show.

slight subject drift I know, bit I forgot that Waddo had the An-124 in for collecting Nimrod XV246 sme years ago, So not sure what the problem is at Waddo regarding Voyagers.... :S

Doesn't Waddington have a big problem with it's runway, which is being replaced soon ?

Would it kill you to say 'well done' ? I bet if you found a £10 note your first thought would be, well it's not a £20.

Good effort airshow team.

Austrian & Italian EF-2000s added to static
AIRSHOW NEWSFLASH: STATIC DISPLAY ADDITIONS

Not one, not two but three..

We look forward to welcoming Typhoons from the Austrian and Italian Air Forces to the 2013 Leuchars Airshow on Saturday 7th September. The jets will feature alongside those of 1(Fighter) and 6 Squadrons who are based here at RAF Leuchars.

Typhoon is a multi-role combat aircraft which provides Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) for all three nations. QRA requires aircraft and crews to hold high alert ready to scramble and intercept any potential airborne threats to national airspace. Typhoons from the Royal Air Force and the Italian Air Force worked together in 2011 when they flew combat air patrol missions in support of NATO's Operation Unified Protector in Libya.

Starting to look a good lineup, info from RAF Leuchars facebook page https://www.facebook.com/rafleuchars?hc_location=stream

Has any UK show had Austrian EF-2000s?
