I guess we all did our own maths but I was just generalising that if you get there by 3pm you should be ok but if you want to arrive at 15:49 then go for it
If you want to see the choppers again you will have to guesstimate a couple of hours before to make sure.
Obviously if the glad handing and back slapping takes longer than expected the jumbo won't go without him
I won't be there as I was thinking of doing Luton for the F1 biz but even that is looking less likely as I have been invited to a pub lunch which given the paucity of my social engagements I can't turn down!
If it's after 1530 (BST) I shall miss it as I need to be home for 4 pm so I'm hoping it will be 3ish
The problem that time of day is that the sun is straight down the runway so which side of the departure track to go? Coin toss time!

I've seen 21,00 on the Stansted google group, didn't state if that was UTC or BST but the poster normally gives the local time i.e. BST in this instance.
Helicopter flight arrival given as 19.55 by the same poster albeit in a different post.

I've seen 2100UTC and BST on Facebook. Someone who works at Stansted said "10pm" meaning BST.

I've now seen a post saying 22.00 BST as well but others still saying 21.00 but not defining it, it's unusual for the reliable sources not to be precise.

Does anyone know if the Police helicopter escort is anything but showmanship? Just seen the Seakings and Chinnoks go overhead up to Stansted and they were doing the whole changing positions, but surely an RN/RAF/Army helicopter escort would be better as they have countermeasures and could carry more people with guns?

Which is why I don't understand the police helicopter. I suppose they have the ability to land and arrest someone, but don't think it is that useful. I suppose it is for their video recording and laser pen gizmo for gathering evidence of needed.

The police helicopter is a helpful guide for an aircraft operating in busy and unfamiliar controlled airspace. I would imagine it’a a lot easier for HMX1’s crew to follow an aircraft who are familiar with the airspace and are speaking with ATC on their behalf etc.
I have seen videos of similar occurrences in other countries.

and you are pretty much spot on. Who knows the London Airspace better than a Police Helicopter crew that operates in it on a daily basis...
