Hi all
Does anybody else think the F16 crash in the states might kill the demo team from making the trip over :(
Cheers
Matt.

Good update yesterday, happy about the Belgian F-16s. According to the confirmed aircraft list. Could mean one from KB and one from Florennes, both have D Day heritage. Potentially means the D Day jet

It’d be 1 x 349 Sqn and 1 x 350 Sqns, but they can feel free to bring as many as they want!
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

So from reading other posts online in would seem the recently restored Wessex Helicopter will not be appearing at RIAT :'( , What a real shame as that would have been amazing to see after all these years, I don't think the Whirlwind is coming either :'(

That's correct. Neither the Wessex or Whirlwind will be attending RIAT.

Knowing my luck it will turn up next year with the A-10 Demo and I know for a fact I wont be there that year.

23 May 2019

Today we're back with another big aircraft update, with military aircraft from NATO and the Royal Netherlands Air Force as well as civilian types (including ex-military aircraft) from around the UK and Europe.
NATO will provide us with an E-3A Sentry for our NATO fly past whilst the RNLAF will send an F-16, C-130H Hercules, CH-47 Chinook, AH-64D Apache, AS532 Cougar and NH90 for our static display!
Civilian static updates include: OV-10B Bronco, two Hunter Mk.58s, Bell 'Huey' and OH-6A and an L-29 Delfin, plus many more!

Well, flypast but still good - Though, knowing the E-3's RIAT history, I'll believe it when I see it

Agree with James.

NATO E3 has been promised more times than most other a/c - and appeared far less.
If it comes over, it will be the first time since 2009 me thinks.
