E-3F @ Geilenkirchen

Last week one of France four E-3F's visited Geilenkirchen, Germany. It arrived on Tuesday and after a day of training by the crew in the sim on base the AWACS left on Wednesday back to its homebase Avord, France. Here it is seen taxiing towards holding point runway 09, catching the last bit of sunlight around 5 p.m.:
