Hopefully the weather behaves next month, and they do something to remember.

flypast for this will be 8:45am. (Unsure of exact a/c)

BBC Breakfast are broadcasting live from the Park 6am-9am.

Sounds like it could be a busy one.....

Most likely a missing man flypast, I'd have thought.

Yea, that was my first thoughts.

Yanks love a good missing man.

Numbers suggest 4x F15, 4x Typhoon, 2x Osprey and a Tanker or C130?

Some information from a local newspaper on likely advantage points to watch

https://sheffieldnewsroom.co.uk/news/mi_amigo_flypast/

Also i think it would fitting if the flypast(or part of it) could use AMIGO as call sign ?

BBC Breakfast mentioned it again today, I think the Take Off Time may be 0845hrs from LN with a Time On Tony in Sheffield of 0855, this was from the TV and not official.
I shall be glued to my TV from 0830 for sure.

92-0364 has been painted with nose art depicting the Squadron badge of the B17 and Pilots names.

An F-15E Strike Eagle from the 494th FS, 48th FW carries the names of the heroic 364th Bomb Squadron crew of the B-17 Flying Fortress, Mi Amigo, at RAF Lakenheath on February 20, 2019. The 494th FS will take part in a multi-aircraft flypast over Sheffield, England to honor the crew of Mi Amigo on February 22. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Matthew Plew/Released)

Flypast confirmed as:

Dakota
CV-22
MC130
KC135
2x Typhoons
4x F15e 494th.

I'm shooting the whole thing for the air cadets so hope to be able to share some shots tomorrow evening.

Fingers crossed its part of the formation, although unsure we'll be able to see it, would expect them to be a bit on the high side.
