Re: Dragon 86
Dragon 86 pinging on Mode S as AE0954, 80-1071
Dragon 88 will be following it in, currently at FL500 West of Manchester pinging as AE0968, 80-1094.
Serials will need eyeball confirmation.
Still no Notam published and Dragon 86 is down to 5,000ft!

Re: Dragon 86
I think the problem is with Adsb's MLAT as he is in controlled airspace and he hasn't been given any heading changes.

Re: Dragon 86/88
4 C-17s came into Fairford before the B-52 Ex presumably delivering equipment, only 2 C-17s have been in after the Ex to take that equipment home. So it would make sense that this C-5 is taking the last of it out, but that's just a guess.
Re: Dragon 86/88
Dragon 88 down to 6,000ft on approach vectors... Still no Notam!

Reasonable assumption is to expect a "D21" and poss. "D31" inby the other way.

Could be a shrewd deduction Sam - plenty of room in 101 ? Loadmaster named 'Skinner'.

Has the C-5 departed yet?
Re: Dragon 86/88
Apparently not.

It has departed

Re: Dragon 86/88
Sounds like they are not bothering about Notams anymore? as the C5 departed after the aerodrome was officially closed, and the first U2 arrived this morning before it was officially open.
