Just a wee heads up - there is info on Twitter today that there will be a 5th flypast on Friday 23rd August at 9pm. It seems to be from a fairly reputable source but i’ve asked for confirmation. Will post more if I get it but perhaps worthwhile noting meantime

What time did they fly over Edinburgh tonight? I was in oerth tonight and they flew over at 9.05. Did they fly over at the usual time of 9? They had their afterburners on. Was this the same in Edinburgh? The last few years they e had them off due to noise complaints

They were bang on 9:00 tonight

It’s rubbish they’re so quiet now!! They used to roar over the Edinburgh skies until people complained spoiling it!!! They had their afterburners on and were loud by the time they arrived in Perth!

Yeah I remember the noisy days, it was noisier as soon as they passed and banked north for home
It was 3 years ago tonight that the red arrows flew over

Red arrows are my ultimate favourite. Going to miss them this year with them doing the North America tour. Normally make it to a few of the air shows to see them!!

I think so Dex - am not holding out much hope for anything tonight to be honest.

It’s supposed to stay dry until 11 and brighten up a bit so hopefully we get the fly past! Does anyone know of it will by typhoons again or if something else?

Herc ZH889 is currently heading up the east coast and approaching the Bass Rock hold. Think this might be our aircraft for tonight.
