Definitely had worse visits to Waddington in recent years! Hope these are worth a quick peek. Just the Israelis for the sake of brevity, these were great to see.
Very nice post there Richard Great shots, Lets hope weather continues to 'play ball' on subsequent flight days.
I would imagine that such a line of photographers 'peering' over the fence is a bit of a 'unique' and strange experience for them.
Good set of shots guess we will all have very similar work
a great day to be at the end of the runway
IDF pilots happy to wave at the line of photographers
well organised parking and everyone trying their best to stay out of each others way
small 2 step ladders and step stools were being allowed on the base side of the A15
Great set and a great day by the looks of it. Glad all the duff info regards runway departures and security etc etc...., being put about was just that. Hopefully get down next week but not looking too promising at the moment.
Very nice images...noticed you even got aircrew's patches in view and not censored this time ;-).
I see all the conformal tanks (CFTs) are marked with id nos.
Many thanks for all the kind comments. It was certainly a less difficult and more civilised day than the build up lead me to believe. People were very sensible, the authorities didn't get too involved and the staff from the WAVE were a big help in taming the traffic. Just need to try to find some different angles for the next trip.
Cheers.
Many thanks to all the W.A.V.E staff who did all they could to make monday a safe and enjoyable day.I hope we do not get any idiots flouting any requests there as I would like to return again next week. Not seen anything so far reported, and cross fingers nothing does ocurr. Thanks again W.A.V.E volunteers and keep up the excellent work and I hope you collect a lot of money to keep you going for years to come
