Must be a spotters dream though, I would love to go there!

What is the FF coded C-135, is FF Fairford?

FF = Langley. FF stands for First Fighter as the 1st FS is based there. The tailcode is / was used by all based and parented units.

That particular aircraft was an EC-135, assigned to the 6th ACCS / 1st TFW, Langley AFB.

Lots of interesting details regarding AMARC, and a few pics of the "Executioner", the huge crane/guilotine responsible for delivering the final blow.
