Hi everyone!
...not so new to the forum, after years of peeping I'd like to be more active!
I've been for 30 years an aviation, photo and radio enthusiast, hopefully I'll be able to provide you something from NE Italy, where I live. NE Italy means Istrana and Aviano air bases...!
Best regards!
Filippo

Good Afternoon All
I’m PARA DAVE I’m a serving member of The Parachute Regiment I’m currently at home waiting to see if we deploy for COVID 19. I am revising at home reading up on ILS approaches blar blar looking at sitting my ATPL exams shortly. The Army taught me to fly in 2015 I joined this forum as I love aviation and jumping out of them. I currently fly empty for my hour building so if anyone on the east coast fancy’s flying when I do I have a spare seat. I have 173 P1 hours logged, I am also looking for some F15E UK fs patches for my new jacket.
I love Motörhead, LEEDS United , and Spitfires.

Hi all, I discovered this forum a few weeks ago whilst looking for Mach loop gen and decided to join whilst procrastinating between uni work. Not much to say about myself, been into military aviation for a while but really got back into it in the last two years, triggered by my first visits to Mach loop.

 Hello,
I'm in my mid 60's ex RAF Supplier/Blanket Stacker and avid amateur aircraft photographer. I use Aircraft Tracking Apps and a Scanner to further my interest in aviation.
I was directed to this forum by a good friend up here in the NE who said it's a good place to pick up info on Mil Aircraft movements ie #Blue and #Roma flights and also Mil Exercises ie #Cobra Warrior

Morning All

I'm a bit late on the introduction here, as you can see by the forum name my favourite aircraft is the Vulcan. Having seen my first Vulcan in 69 climbing out of Scampton this followed over the years a passion for this aircraft. Luckily got to visit 617 Vulcan sqn at Scampton in it's operational days, I followed my father into the airforce for 6 years at Marham with Canberra's, Tornados & Victors.

Then spent another 10 .5 years in the aviation sector in the logistics spares section, providing spares for B727,C130,E3D etc. Back now living in Lincolnshire getting to see the Red Arrows & Rivet Joints on a daily basis and using the scanner!!

🕊 🌈 to the Newbies one & all.

Remember to post 5 ASAP; if you can spell & your English grammar is accurate your contributions will be greatly appreciated

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. There are many on here who are only too happy to correct your input. Posts are not necessarily accurate but reflect bias and bigotry held by the poster.

Most of all, have fun, stay safe

Hi,

Mil here new member recently returned to the UK after living in Aus for the last 17 years. I am in Troon, Scotland so quite handy for Prestwick. Seen quite a bit of Military traffic since arriving mainly RAF A400s and C17s with the occasional voyager or c130 and transiting overseas AF aircraft mainly USAF and RCAF again mainly transport.

Where I lived previously in Aus -Darwin - hosted a biennial international exercise called Pitch Black with participants from the western pacific and southern asia best milair spotting opportunity i had in Aus, also regularly hosted B52s and USMC deployments with ospreys and various helos.

Permanently here now in Troon and hope to expand my spotting opportunities as lockdown eases.
