Down The River with a Vader

Post by hawgwash » Fri Apr 08, 2022 5:44 am

With VFA-204 losing their Hornets for F-5's, it was great to have three River Rattlers come through Fort Worth Alliance this weekend. One pilot was starting his fini-flight and all three put on a hell of a show for their assembled families....and us geeks.

Some great shots, love them all, but a real sense of 'Top Gun' on the low flying one with the building in the background.

Great shots, takes me back around 20 years when The Rattlers invited me onto the ramp for a launch at NAS Key West.

Nice set, RR Hornets look great, not sure switching to F5s is an improvement

Good pics , cant see the logic of the f5 s, apart from operating costs ,but not maybe a realistic combat opponent? Rob
