Big thanks for the heads up re the Korean Hercules

Couldn't believe my luck to find the two latest 495FS F-35A at the EOR just as i rolled up - saves chasing them

Thanks

I made a few at Luton so worth the effort in my opinion although will I still be saying that if they come to Lincoln! They will probably end up in Prestwick, everything else does.

All brilliant but just a little bit jealous of those Herk photos......going to have to try to organise a reason to go down the A303 again !!!!
Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?

Excellent captures on some very rare aircraft. Nice to see a 'European 1' type scheme on a C-130 again (much better than grey!). Anyone know why the Koreans picked Boscombe as their base for the summer?

Thanks again

Maybe it's all down to money - perhaps whoever runs Boscombe offered a competitive deal and virtually an empty airfield?

It will be interesting to see where the airlifted Black eagles go - Boscombe has a very long runway but when did a heavy last land on it?

Great shots of the Hercs
Ref the F-15E without CFT are they due to go back for depot maintenance as the tanks may be retained at lakenheath as role equipment and removed before servicing

Thanks for the comments

I think one of the F-15E without CFT has only recently come back - a week or two ago on ops I heard something like ' we are waiting for the D , to depart as a four ship - I can't recall the exact wording and I may have misunderstood or misheard.

Sorry to bump my own photo thread - perhaps if the lack of CFTs persist into the coming weeks then a question could be asked in the Lakenheath section.
