Pegasus 1+2 Chinook Hc6’s ZH900 and 902 have now arrived and now departed again believe they are returning later

Chinooks returned about 1725 tonight and nightstopping

Had an appointment tonight & it was dark anyway so wouldn’t have seen them anyway.? Sorry to have missed the Chinooks. The Swedish Gulfstream & German Global were good to see anyway.

Chinooks just left in last 10 minutes as Vortex 576 and Vortex 577

Drat missed the Chinooks but saw the German (at last)

They fairly rattled the windows when they flew over the Odeon at Wester Hailes - I went outside to see what the racket was (as did a number of people who were in the shopping centre), I only saw the one going into the Airport & one returning South a short time later, but I was told a pair went in. Not sure if the one I saw in & out again was even the same machine.

Both Chinooks went into Redford Barracks so would have been very low over Wester Hailes,don`t think they stayed there long before returning to the airport in the evening

Thanks Ross - I did wonder why the Southbound machine was much lower than usual, the one heading into the Airport, not so much as I assumed it was heading in to land.
