Not sure how long my luck will hold out but throughout the month I had countless encounters with the local otters, foxes, kingfishers and some visiting waxwings!
/Foxes in the snow

/Through the branches

/Keeping watch

/Kingfishers have been a lot more approachable the last month with the colder weather

/

/This Kingfisher was making use of a friend on the river

/2 Seperate Otter families are on the local river with 1 young cub seeming to have been kicked out by the mother in 1 of the families, hopefully it survives,in the meantime the Kingfishers like to follow the Otters around picking off any small fish which try to flee while they are in a hunting frenzy

/Running along the wall next to the river

/A more natural look

/Waxwings arrived at the start of the month but not in the hoped for big numbers

/

/

/Our young cub on his own, feeding and hunting quite well but its gonna be tough for him to make it through winter on his own

/

/Otter cub enjoying a roll in the snow

Thanks for looking
Ross
