Funny how Scrambles update is identical to the one's shared on here a few days earlier - I wonder where they get their info from?

The A330 is not involved in the Ex at this time.

The KC-135 should be operating out of Waddo.

Any Indian tanker will be operating out of Brize.

Is that a cryptic clue or should we all be checking the forecast?

I've booked a day off so it'll probably be me. Not sure why or how the weather man knows though!

If they make it, will this be the debut of Indian Mirage 2000s in the UK? I can't remember them visiting before, or find anything online to suggest they have.

Surprised no one has shared this yet, published 13.2.23:

UK delegation supports ‘atmanirbharta’ at Aero India - https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-d ... aero-india
The Royal Air Force (RAF) looks forward to welcoming the Indian Air Force (IAF) to the UK for exercise Cobra Warrior next month. This will be the first time that the IAF would be participating in the multilateral air combat exercise, which will see participation of air forces from 17 nations.
The most concrete evidence yet regarding the Indian deployment

Good spot - fairly solid evidence there.

I think some of their jets may be ex French, so may have visited these shores before.

Or I could be barking up the wrong tree.

There is no evidence of any of the ex French aircraft flying as yet. They received 40, of which 13 were supposed to fly and 27 for spares.

Does it necessarily mean aircraft though? Could it just be personnel and top bods watching?

Still, if it was aircraft, 17 nations would be quite a sight - assuming some of them don't fly their missions from their homebases.

UK, USA, Belgium, Finland, Turkey, India, Saudi, Sweden = 8
Maybe the 1 is a typo and it's only 7 nations?

The Qatari Hawks up at Leeming are believed to be involved, theres nothing other than the scramble rumour that Swedes are coming, doesn't look likely.

Germany (Tornado/Ef-2000/A400 tanker?) and the Netherlands could operate from home (MRTT?)

AdlA E-3Fs could be involved, as could NATO E3s - a multi national crew could be bending the truth and making 17?

In that vein, we could count any exchange pilots too with any of the participants.

From here, and a Credit to Fightercontrol is on the bottom of the SIS session all year long.
