Sunday 18 June 2023 - where is 86-0125 please?

Post by tm74sqn » Sun Jun 18, 2023 10:15 pm

Went past early evening today (Sunday), but could not find B-1B 86-0125. Photographed the other three, but could not locate '125 - any ideas?
Many thanks, TM74

All four were definitively there as I went past there. Fourth one is behind the building facing the fields

Thanks for your reply - I'm on the waiting list for a hip replacement, so unable to walk very far (30 to 50 ft if I can stand the pain!), so would welcome advice as to best place to view and/or photograph it.
Cheers, TM74

If you drive around to Rhymes Farm crash gate after 17:00 you can park up quickly and shoot it from the other side of the runway.

From Rhymes it will be almost a head-on shot with little side definition.....also...mid morning it was towed a short distance to fit into the bay more snuggly (maybe). From Dunfield gate only the mid and upper tail (including the"125") is visible. Good luck...Rgds.

Aren't the nose and tail visible from Marston Mersey gate?
