Any idea what time the Reds depart tonight for Peterhead?

I’ve found it 1914 returning at 2004

Think that Texan ZM326 is the first of this aircraft type to visit Lossie since entering RAF service..

I was surprised (and disappointed) the BBMF or at least the Lancaster, whiucb displayed at Peterhead on Friday night, didn't night stop at Lossiemouth. It - they I presume - is/are displaying at Lossie this afternoon, so why the long haul South and back North today? Seems odd - anyone know why?

Having a Lancaster fly in and out, reminiscent (a little bit) of the Shackletons, would have been nice.

It is a strange one, don’t understand myself why they flew the Lanc up to Leuchars to display at Peterhead last night, then flew it back to Coningsby straight afterwards. Could they not have flown to Lossie yesterday and stayed there all weekend, or at the very least just what it did last night. I would like to know what the”unforeseen circumstances”, are, but doubt we’ll ever know.

I have seen a couple of comments on Facebook that suggests its due to the weather down south this weekend. They hinted at if they didn't head home last night then they might have been unable to head home on Sunday.

Seen that, but couldn’t they have flown South later on today or stayed until Monday.

They might have had that idea but might have not been able to get the hangar they where using for longer or had to be somewhere else on the Monday. The where supposed to do a fly past at the Dumfries and Galloway museum on Sunday when transiting home.

Can’t see it being a hangar issue, so who knows🤔

Hi good evening all, I watched the flying display from a location in Lossiemouth itself and wondered wether someone could provide the following IDs/ Serials please:
1) The 2 flying Typhoons
2).The P-8 Poseidon which flew with the forenentioned
Typhoons.
3).ANARCHY 1 Display Typhoon (I was disappointed it
wasn’t Blackjack!)….
4). The Falcons Dornier Aircraft.
5). All the Red Arrows which flew the display.
6). The Coastguard Helicopter
7). The RAF F-35B Lightning which flew the display.
8). The line up of P.8 Poseidons which were there
throughout the afternoon.
9). Also the glider type Aircraft which departed in
The afternoon after flying finished.
I already knew that the VESPINA Voyager was ZZ336.

Also I didn’t see any of the actual Static Aircraft as I can’t see through Trees and hangars. Also I wasn’t invited on base as it was a families day.

Thank you in hope.

Thank you np1991 that’s great, I did think there were 6 Poseidons on the line but that must have been a trick of the light!?…. Unfortunately I couldn’t see the Static line on Echo hard from where I was but what you’ve posted is great and will enter into my log when I get home. On holiday for a few days & log at home. Don’t worry about No. 9 it’s the other 8 which mattered. Cheers.

For Unknown74 : There were 6 P8s on D : the 6th was ZP809 ; the glider type departure was a Vigilant T1 ( red/white colours ) ;
The reserve Hawk for the Reds was XX295 ( on E ) ; the reserve Typhoon for " Anarchy 1 " was ZK330 ( on B ) .
