Sometimes at the fence you have to while away time, there can be long periods of idleness, whilst you wait for that which brought you here. This 'different' picture shows a lesser seen side of military aviation photography, more so when you have visiting aircraft from abroad, and the base needs to be tidy. Yes, the hum of mowers, and the dust, yes see the dust from those mowers, a definite no-no on pricey cameras and lenses.
So you faff and wait. Even the red Hawks remained static.
