One of them carried out a ground run about 4 weeks ago, since then all 4 have been in the hangar.

Can I start the rumour that one will replace the Northolt A109 GZ100.
The mirror are suggesting it will be an AW149

The Mirror is wrong, no decision has yet been taken.

back at Gazelles - they continue to visit sites in Herefordshire working with local units - so if the new 135s are not to replace the Gazelles in Northern Ireland will they take on the other roles that Gazelles perform for example visits to Herefordshire. If not what will.

5 UK Juno's/H135 leased to Australia for 5 years
Probably the 5 stored H135s.
Colours all ready match

https://www.flightglobal.com/helicopter ... 20.article
Australia to lease five UK H135s for Black Hawk pilot training

Australia is to lease five United Kingdom-based Airbus Helicopters H135 ‘Juno’ helicopters for training purposes, as it expedites deliveries of Sikorsky UH-60M Black Hawks.

The five H135s will be leased for five years and be based at Oakey, Queensland, says Australia’s Department of Defence.

An H135 ‘Juno’ helicopter. Australia is to lease five UK-based H135s to support flight crew awaiting the arrival of UH-60M Black

The UK Ministry of Defence does not operate H135s directly, but outsources training work to Ascent Flight Training, a joint venture between Lockheed Martin, parent company of Sikorsky, and Babcock International.

Cirium fleets data indicates that Ascent operates 34 H135s. FlightGlobal has reached out to Ascent for comment.
Is this 34 including the 5 stored ones?

Yes
Is there some mix up by Flight Global.
The 5 stored ones are not part of the trainings fleet.
They were purchased direct by the MoD for another reason.

So 29 H135 Juno trainers used by DFHS/Ascent
5 H135 stored

1+1 would make it the 5 H135 go to Australia.
And there is no direct link with Ascent other then that both are H135 helicopters.
