Waddington - Weds 10th July
A few jottings from a work visit onto the base today.
In the circuit between 1000-1100 were Phenoms ZM336 and then ZM335. In between these Hunter ZZ190 did three approaches before departing to the north.
Around Lunchtime Protector PR009 was pulled out of hangar 3 and towed down to a point beyond the Rivet Joints for engine runs. I am told that this is frequently pulled out but it normally sits on either the helipad or the Compass Swing pad.
The Saudi Hawks didn't move. Rumour is they will fly tomorrow for a practise display and MAY be flying with the reds during families day.
Will try to post some photos in due course.

Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?

Re: Waddington - Weds 10th July
There isn't a d324 Notam for tomorrow, but is for Friday.
Plus there is a low level route Notam that starts and ends at Waddington for Friday.
I'd put my money on it happening then - but as is ever nothing is certain in this game haha

Re: Waddington - Weds 10th July
Does anyone have the serials for the 11 Red Arrows hawks that left for Bournemouth this evening?
I have XX242, XX278 and XX325 from photos as they passed over Abingdon and XX219 was showing on ADSBExchange
Thanks in advance

Yes, XX235 also shows on tracking occasionally but isn't with the team yet - still at Shawbury I believe.
