SLUF's in Suffolk

A variety of A-7s seen at Woodbridge,Lakenheath & Bentwaters during the 1980s when these used to reasonably often deploy to european bases.
1st up at Woodbridge during May 1986 a detachment from the 4450 TG from Nellis AFB.These were apparently trialling some systems for the F-117.

Next at Lakenheath in September 1989.12 x 149TFS,Virginia ANG arrived on the evening of Sat 9th.These formed Coronet Anaconda and were deploying from their home base of Richmond en route to Evenes,Norway,departing Lakenheath a few days later.

Nice post Kenny. I can remember seeing these flying about the Scottish Borders in the mid 80's. Never did get one at low level though.
