At the end of Jan I had a business trip to SoCal where I had a free afternoon so I headed to NAS North Island in the hope of catching both versions of the US Navy CODs - the C-2 Greyhound and the CMV-22B Osprey. Although it was a bit of a quiet afternoon, I did get both plus a few other visitors. It's a great location though just sitting on the beach soaking up the sun. I then travelled to Davis-Monthan AFB and caught the new EA-37 Compass Call. I prefer the old EC-130!!
Twin Otter is interesting. No markings at all as far as I can see, plus the finlets on the horizontal stabilisers (more commonly seen on float or ski-configured Twotters). Nice shots.

Dan, I beleive the Twin Otters are used by the US Navy for pilot training.

Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?
