Need a clue about a weapons demonstration if possible?

Post by Condor68 » Fri Jun 27, 2025 9:01 pm

Not sure when it was (but a long time ago probably late sixties)there was a demo shown on TV (425 I think) of three groups of aircraft attacking 3 separate vehicle groups ,If memory is right 2 used rockets or bombs and Phantoms used the Vulcan.Dont know if it was Farnborough as regs not as tight then.Pretty sure Raymond Baxter was doing the presentation. Would imagine it wasnt an Airshow .Might have been a promo for the Phantom. It has bothered me for years.Just wondered of anyone had any clues.

Thanks
Keith

If it cant be fixed with a hammer, then its an electrical problem.

Many thanks lazybinman for finding the youtube - must have a look at that. Always enjoyed Raymond Baxter doing anything - expecially to do with flying.
