Gateway timeout & bad Gateway messages 16th May '25

Is anyone else having this today here on FC? Its really difficult to use the site. I am not getting this elsewhere on the internet where things seem normal.

Just been told by google FC ic not a safe site and sometimes it opens or I get a 504 bad gateway.

Same issue here a lot of the morning. Cleared all cookies, history and signed back in but the same issue happening.

No errors or warnings but it's been getting slower all week on Android when I was away. Just as bad on Windows too now I'm home.

Same issue here, been like it for a few days. Cleared cache, cookies etc, improved for a while then back to same. Seems to revolve around uk heads up section, refresh the page then get logged out.

I wasn't sure it warranted a new thread but the forum performance is poor at the moment and has been intermittent throughout the weekend.

Are the admins able to have a look?

Been very slow for me today with quite a few bad gateway msgs.All other sites I have been on have been sound but FC not that good.

I had the same, delete cookies in the bottom right corner then refreshed and it’s been a little better.

Keep having to 'Delete cookies' which clears it but only lasts a short time then back slow and then Gateway timeout etc, all other internets sites ok, also FC on my mobile is fine

Sounds like your cookie and browsing cache's are nearly full so they need to be cleared. I use google for cookies (in delete browsing data) and Advanced System Care (https://www.iobit.com/en/advancedsystemcarefreeb.php) for the other caches. you may be surprised how much space is created. Be aware Advanced system care is not Microsoft approved which is why it does a good job.
If you clean your pc at least once a month it should solve the problem. It did mine, so good luck.
