can any body say what type of spotting is at Wattisham and also how esay to read the serials

Haven't been there for a while, but in the absence of any other replies I will say what I remember.
The whole base is surrounded by an 8'(?) high steel fence topped with razor wire which does restrict viewing to some extent. There are places on Ware Road from where you can get what is probably the best view of the ramp. There is also a track from Stowmarket Road which leads to the threshold of the runway, but I don't know how the Police feel about accessing that. Finally, you will have to be lucky to get more than a few Apaches out at any one time IMHO.
