Well well well, me and the son where there with the cameras and have been debating publishing the pics??? We have a few shots but none have clear face pics if that is a worry?
Josh my son who had the camera with the 300 lens on and got pointed at a couple of times by Army dudes in cars going round the peri road and surprise surprise a few minutes later a land rover pulls in the compound and asks us to leave, we just went somewhere else, DURRRR!!!!

Shall i wait to post the pictures or not

I'm only 5 mins from Leeming and the Herc is out constantly at the mo'. Overhead right now as I type but I shall avert my eyes. Back over again. It appears to follow the same track every few minutes.

Hi Guys,

Called in here for a long lunch break today and seemed very busy with the Exercise. Not sure what all the fuss is about as its the same type of aircraft that were used on the last exercise
Plenty of movements and Para drops which can be clearly seen from the surrounding roads etc

Great to meet Len and see the VIP too

22 SAS don't like people watching them especially if with a camera.
Baffles me why they do Ex Chameleon at an airbase if they don't want people watching.
Its the reason they used to conduct it all the time down at St Mawgan and use the surrounding moor areas so its out of the way and a "sea" area over the east.
But Leeming, i have no idea why so.

Got some cracking photos today from one of the best days i've ever had at leeming. I never stayed in one location for very long as taking the same image time and time again gets a tad tedious.

Pretty awesome day at Leeming. Got some amazing 'Geronimo' shots close to scrappys and sweet departures on the mound at the 34 end. Spotted the 'odd' FC member down on the Roman Road.
