I know Leeming pretty well, but where exactly is the mound at the 34 end?

Travel south down the Roman Road (past the original entrance to the base), passed the road that curves off to the right, passed the truck stop to where there is a lane off to the left. Park somewhere around here and there is a 8' mound (which isn't on private land) by the side of the road. 54 16' 52" N, 1 32' 05" W. (ish) This location looks onto extreme end of 34 where taxiways converge.
