Hello and Thanks...

Post by Tigerbull » Thu Dec 29, 2011 12:16 pm

I stubbled across this forum about a month or so ago and have been on everyday since!. I have not alot more than a "boys own" interst in all Military aircraft and I am certainly no photographer (although I could be soon!), I have followed the relative ups and downs of XH558 over the last few years and am a Cosford flying day regular.

I have registered here mainly so I can say thankyou to all members who post their absolutley brilliant images on here, simply stunning, I've spent hours and hours trawlling back through all the site.

Once again many thanks to you all for sharing and I hope you don't mind me being an onlooker.

Will post a few up later on if they are useable, as they are all 1987--1992

tbh, I don't think that's the "bolt gun" in my avater, I seem to recall a rifle of some descripion in that scene, could be wrong though!, great film as you say.

Bolt guns used in slaughter houses are pistols fired by a .22 blank, and as said fire a cpative bolt.

It's from the scene when there is a shootout in the motel - some kind of shotgun with a silencer on it. Jem is right though, he even uses the cattle gun to blow the lock off the door about 10 seconds before using the shotgun.

Welcome to FC by the way! :thumb:

Dont worry mate, it can only get worse, you start hearing jet noises in the sky, you look up and walk into a wall.

You dream of Tiffies doing verticals at Warton, being buzzed by a GR4 in the lakes, then you`ve realised youve been hooked, you crave for the smell of aviation fuel.

Dont worry there`s help out there, you can always visit the WAVE psychiatric assessment centre.

I know MY problem I`m barmy :S :S :S
