Al Ain Aerobatic Airshow 2010, UAE

Post by Dunk » Thu Jan 28, 2010 6:04 pm

Went to the second day of the 4 day Aerobatic show at Al Ain today, no military flying today, bar the Saudi Hawks, Bahrain F-16 flew yesterday, along with UAE Apache.

Fencing by RIAT me thinks...

South African Goodyear team, start their routine by doing a loop and letting parachutists fall out at the top of loop!!!

Done these slightly bigger, as I do like them lots - Flapjack...

and then a slow pass with the sunroof open...

Bit cloudy today, more tomorrow in sunnier weather hopefully.

Very nice Dunk! NIce to see they've pulled out a Mirage 2000 and F-16 for the show this year - only had (very impressive) models last year.

Nice one Dunky, hope there's some decent hardware in the flying for you.

Watch your editing, there's quite a big halo around the first Hunter, I know they're angelic, but not that much. :halo:
You want the Aladeen news, or the Aladeen news?

I can see it too, Dunk. Just on the initial shot of Miss Deameanour though; the rest look fine. Like the Breitlings break and 2nd Hunter shot - would be nice to have light like that at shows over here.

Cheers,
Martin

Was a very fast, and very low pass!

Mike -The show is set up on a North/South taxiway with markers on the scrubland, they take off from the main runway which runs kind East/West.

Wonder how long it takes for the likes of Miss Demeanour to get from the UK to Al Ain? Can imagine the refuelling stops etc.

Team viper came out via Toulouse, Rome, Greece, Egypt, Saudi to Bahrain in 3 days. Didn't get a chance to speak to Jonathon.
