Snapped this yesterday afternoon at PIK and whilst fooling around with the photograph I realised I wasnt too
sure exactly what type it is.

Got me there Dave, try the recongnition quiz, they always get them right there! I googled and googled but to avail, I take it you have no serial?

Sorry not too helpful, but enter it in the recognition quiz and id say them guys will get it straight away!

Dont think it is Vulcan as the Me108 is a tail-dragger, I was tinking along the lines of a Nord type though!

The Nord was a French build based on the Me108.

Thats the Nord 1000 and 1002 I believe, the Nord 1100 is a completly different aircraft

Dave,
Its NORD 1101 G-BSMD (139), lives round on Apr. E, and does summer shows with the Chipmunks and Yaks, it was up doing a couple of circuits last weekend as well.Confuses the tower, they're convinced its a Messerschmit!
There is another one in the corner of E, in L-O-N-G time rebuild, just a fuselage at the momement G-ATDB (186)
