Hi Mach 1 My first encounter with a fast jet was a meteor at Stansted when It was a "USAF" base in the early fifties so an SR-71 is modern by comparison have been interested in anything that flies(and doesnt blow dust and debris into my eyes is a bonus)since, including the Skyways yorks which were based there .
