Axalp 2009 - Wednesday Scorcher - More added

Post by Vixen1 » Sun Oct 11, 2009 4:12 pm

I visited Switzerland for the show again this year which was blessed by fantastic weather this year on the day I went up. It was the hottest day in October on record for the Bernese Oberland - 26 degrees C.
On with the show:-

About a dozen people on the south ridge this year including some airlifted up by Bohag - they had to have press accreditation though, others who walked up there took 5 hours plus.

Looks like this could be my last visit as I've got real problems with my knees despite taking it easy both ways and using two walking poles.

There are more if you want to see them, - I hope Photobucket has not degraded these too much.

Hunters and a Vampire at Sion and Payerne to come soon.
