Just a quick post to make you all aware of the Flight Sim Convention that will be held at the Helicopter Museum at Weston-Super-Mare this year. The event will be held on the 15th & 16th May and features a number of FS and Real World Exhibits.
Confirmed to be exhibiting at the show are:
- Bristol and Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulances (subject to tasks)
- Western Counties Police Helicopter (subject to tasks)
- PC Pilot
- RC Simulations
- Flight 1 ***Exhibiting their latest Sea King Simulation***
amongst many others.
All funds raised will be donated to the helicopter museum for the upkeep of their exhibits as well as both of the afore mentioned air ambulances.
As well as the above, the vRAF will be present at the show and will be holding a competition to win a very special prize, with all donations received to enter being donated to the RAF Benevolent Fund.
In addition, on the Saturday evening, the museum and exhibitors will be recognising the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain with a simulated dogfight, supported by a local re-enactment outfit providing ARP Wardens, Home Guard Troops and Ack Ack crews.
