Interesting observation and in fact that a/c followed the same sqwk pattern 6441 > 4627 , but from manchester it headed north and last seen east of Edinburgh

Death changed to 4627 just after 1205 local and momentarilly triggered a beam fix in the Irish sea , but , it was gone in an instant.
I presume , when asked he fliccked the sqwk for ATC then switched off Mode A until it was needed again.
