Hi all, I'm new here, I'm in my thirties and have been a military aviation addict since before I was 10 and living in South Africa, I live in New Zealand and have been here since 1996.

I also love photography and just wish I knew what I was doing, I have commandeered my dads Canon 500D and am trying to teach myself how to use it, anyway, real happy I found this place and I will contribute with some recent pics I took at AFB Ohakea, the RNZAF 75th anniversary air show.

Hi Jason and welcome.I'm pretty certain a lot of the people on this site would welcome your photos.
I'm fairly new to the site myself and think shots from your part of the world would make a great and pleasant change.
You'll soon get used to working the camera and as I'm no expert myself the advice I would give is go out
and use it and learn from your time operating it.

Hope you enjoy the site and look forward to some photos from Wanaka and other places from your corner of the world. JB
