Royal Air Force Station Waddington in Lincolnshire, the county that is considered by many to be the traditional heartland and spiritual home of the Royal Air Force, has been host since 1995 to the RAF's largest air show. It has a well-earned reputation for appealing to enthusiasts and families alike, and is considered to be one of the UK's top military air shows.

Themes, this year, include:
90 years since the first RAF airshow
70 years since the Battle of Britain
35 years of AWACS

The flying display takes place from 10am until 5pm each day and includes the world famous Red Arrows, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Lancaster, Spitfire, and Hurricane, RAF Typhoon & Spitfire pair, and role-demos by the popular RAF Harrier GR9 and RAF Tornado GR4s. The Turkish Stars aerobatic team will also display along with a Czech JAS-39 Gripen and RNZAF Boeing 757.

Ground attractions include trade & craft fairs, ground exhibitions, a funfair, and classic cars.

Thanks
Dave Key
