I have made a start on the Undercart doors and also the Drop Tanks and Missles. I also could not resist dry fitting the Canopy for a sneaky look!!
Next up is attaching the gear doors and jacks and getting her ready for some paint in the next few weeks!!

Any chance you can post some pics of that Phantom in the gallery ?

Re: 1/72 Intermediate-Advanced - Mig 29 UB - Updated 08/02/10

Afternoon all!!

Just a written update today... I have ended up with 6 stiches in my hand and cant do anything more for the minute
I have finally sorted out all all the gaps with filler and nearly sorted out the sanding
The next stage was to start getting the Missles ready as well as the Hardpoints... Bit harder than I thought
As it stands I am looking to get the painting started as soon as my stiches are removed!!

One question I do have is... Where would be or what would be the bast way to create a base? Can you buy them or is it easier to make one?

The other builds are coming along very nicely!! :thumb:

I should get some pictures sorted asap
Cheers

You can buy them, but they can be a bit expensive. A cheaper option is to use picture frames as you can paint the base what ever colour you like, similar to what Ive done with my rafale but you could put a runway/taxiway instead of the map I used.
