Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
Still looking very thin on the ground (and in the air!) compared to this time last year.
Either confirmed by this point in 2012 by RIAT or by the teams themselves were:
Polish Mi-14
Brazil C-130
Comlumbia C-130, T-90
DHL 757
RAF Squirrel
Andrews KC-135
ITAF 767
SPYDR King Air
ITAF P180
Vulcan
BBMF
E-6B
Jordanian falcons
Osprey
Pat Suisse
ROKAF Black Eagles
Saudi Hawks
Al Fursan
Red Arrows
BAE 146
Jordanian C-130
Netherlands F-16's
B-52
P-3
Yes it was a Farnborough year, and not everything showed thats is on the list, but compared to whats been announced so far, it's looking a bit 'light'. I know moneys tight with Air Forces worldwide, it is just depressing the way the whole military aviation scene is disappearing.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
I can see why DBH have done this Egg-stravaganza it's got people taking / moaning about RIAT, but surely the have picked the wrong aircraft.. If they had waiting and announced the Brazilian, Colombia & Finnish in this manor people would have been congratulating RIAT. I've got my FRIAT ticket so whatever they announce is good

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
Lets just hope they are saving the best for the last
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
Theres been some eggstremely good additions this week

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
Definitely hope they're holding a few gems back, otherwise I'll save my money.
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
With 11/12 more updates due before the show begins, I would expect some more 'nice' additions to go on the list. Most of the UK Mil aircraft have been added at part of the easter daily update, appart from the Red Arrows (Expected tomorrow), so we know we won't be getting any more UK mil updates.GVLCN wrote:Definitely hope they're holding a few gems back, otherwise I'll save my money.
lots of time to go............So dont panic just yet.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
Think it will be the Dutch or Belgium F16, they both support many shows each year over here.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
Everything revolves around the US military being involved, I dread to think how empty the static park will be without them.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
The lack of American support is what is bothering me, hope they can fill up with other aircraft even what's left of our airforce would be nice.
