Some long and frustrating hours put in by MikeB, I think the whole team and I are very thankful for his efforts.

Also thanks to everyone for their patience, and all the AR Team for keeping everyone up to date through our social media, which came in to its own over the last 5 days.

Onwards and Upwards!

Seems to be only me judging by the previous comments, but it seemed to take much longer to load the forum and topics than it did last week, and I thought that was slow! Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing this?

Having probs, very slow, 2 mins to load each page, don't normally have issues, other sites working fine. Using I pad on BT infinity, access to the site is normally fine, load pages in around 2 , 3 secs.

Whilst I admire the efforts made by those who have been working on the transfer to the new server, I thought I would mention that since attempting to log back in again this morning I have noticed it was terribly slow at loading the pages. I cleared all cookies etc, and expected to see an improvement as noted by others, but I've just timed it and it now takes 40+ seconds to reload this page, with the emoticons box on the right taking the longest???? Just clicking the "reply" box meant another long wait until the page was fully loaded enabling this reply.

Hopefully this glitch can be resolved as the forum is noticeably slower than before (and I'm making live comparisons with other websites whilst I type this, just to be sure).
